While we were in Sioux Falls, Ben, Granny Janny and I drove down to Vermillion to visit Tia at school. Apparently, some of her students agree with me that Ben is the cutest baby ever. They even came up with a cute Spanish nickname "pepinito." It means little cucumber.

Benjamin loved flirting with all the girls.

I know if we're ever in Vermillion, we'll have plenty of babysitters.

Call it a 6 month birthday present

6 Months Old

Better late than never-Benjamin is 6 months old!

Benjamin at 6 months olds: he weights 17.4 pounds (43%), he's 27.25 inches (76%), and his head is 45.25 cm (97.6%). All in all, he's a pretty happy baby. But when he's not, watch out!
Remember last month when I said Benjamin didn't like to roll over? Well, you can forget about that. We cannot keep this boy still! He'll commonly wake us up in the middle of the night stuck on his belly with an arm or leg sticking out of the crib. Wow, does that make him mad!
Benjamin has started eating solids. And while he's not a fan of rice cereal, he really likes peas and bananas. Henry is very happy to help with dinner clean-up and Benjamin thinks it's very funny when Henry licks his fingers. And speaking of the dog...
